Default 29 months later....it's finished!

Yep, I started this Grandmother's Flower Garden the beginning of March, 2011 as a project to work on in my big rig while the trailer was being loaded or unloaded & during downtime or when I got a chance to sew with the girls without dragging my sewing machine around. These are all 1" hexagons & there's 3,979 of them! And yes, it was all sewn together by hand. Now to get it quilted!!

Amazing! What determination! I can't imagine stitching on such small pieces! You rock!

I am in awe, I have wanted to do a hand sewn Grandmothers garden, but I knew I would not persevere. You did a beautiful job, and should be proud of your work! Just lovely!
