Well, the show is over! We had a great response from all our visitors. We show on our downtown campus, in an art gallery in the Student Union, for 2 weeks. Then the show moves over to the International Quilt Study Center & Museum for 2 weeks.
The first night we were at the Quilt Center, they had a special art gallery evening where they stayed open late and had free admission. Also, the Lincoln Quilter's Guild was celebrating their 35th birthday, so served cupcakes and punch. AND there was a free public lecture! There were 175 people in attendance that night - all of who got to see the UNL Employee Quilt Show.
This year we had 18 quilters showing 30 pieces.
The photos in the art gallery are courtesy of my daughter, Diana of PetersPhotography.net.
