Default 2nd quilt by my Granddaughter 8yrs. old

Last year my granddaughter asked to make a quilt at 7 years old and I was so proud. And to my surprise she is still interested in quilting and made another one this year. Only since I gave my self a long arm for my birthday. When she finished the top she also quilted it. Now if I can just get her to sew the binding on. LOL

She has done a beautiful job on her quilt. You must be so proud of her.

A beautiful young lady, with a beautiful quilt! I bet it won't be long before she's doing the binding, as well!

Lovely quilt. How wonderful that you can share this with her! You are both truly blessed.

Wow! I love her fabric choices, and the design of the quilt is really cool. You and your granddaughter are making wonderful memories and building skills at the same time!

Beautiful child!! And a beautiful quilt! Perhaps she could begin by doing the binding by bringing over the backing to finish.

That is a spectacular quilt and I will be sure to show it to my grandsons who are also 8 and learning to quilt. The design is interesting, with challenge, and the colors modern and bright. Congratulations to your grand-daughter. I hope you two have many many hours of fun together!
