Does anyone else do this? I was doing Moose Quilts Layercake Quiltalong; doing 2 different quilts with it, & I always use leaders & enders on everything, so I had pinwheels leftover from the pinwheel quiltalong here on the board (I've done 3 quilts on that one, counting this one), so I figured why not do some simple log cabin around them (all scrap strip pieces I have thrown in a bin), add some stash for the sashing & scrap cornerstones, scraps for the sides to make it a better size & here it is...all done as L&E from making the other 2 quilts. So...3 for 2! I'm working on 3 more as L&E, all using scraps & a little stash...next month I must get some of these quilts quilted. I finally brought home the Janome 6600P which I bought mostly for quilting on because of the larger throat area...so that's what I will be doing next month. I have about 2 dozen quilt tops waiting to be quilted...!!!

Moose Quilt Layer Cake #2--this will be a donation quilt--L&E quilt uses alot of these scraps (which was a scrap quilt to begin with)--I use everything!

Very neat! I adore the second one! I do like the idea of the log cabin around the pinwheels, that looks cool!
