Default 3 little fishies...swimming in the sea

this will be a baby quilt for #16 gg-daughter due the end of September. I have to fuse the fishies, seaweed and ocean bottom and put a mouth on the fish. Might decorate them with metallic thread running up the fish stripes. I am looking for opinions here. It will be about 36 by 36 with a gorgeous flannel background in multi wavy colors. (will show that later. Praobably will echo stitch it when I get it all sandwiched. YIKES

hope you like the rough sit-up...now to get the fushing part done.

A very fun quilt! I like your additonal ideas. Quilting some circles for air bubbles going up towards the top and some wavy swirls for moving water would be some of my quilting ideas. I look forward to seeing this quilt completed

really cute. has a lot of potential for fussying up with embellishments etc. i had not seen the metallic embroidery threads by cosmo until uesterday in a fellow quilters sbs blocks sje was working on. she had done fireworks in her july block. was great! it would work in the bubbles for the fishes too...or to embellish seaweed ...looking forward to seeing pic of finished quilt!

#16 - ?!?! ...congratulations!
