Jenni M has started a scholarship foundation in memory of her son. I think many of us love Jenni ...and in quilter's fashion we have rallied to help her cause. YA! I love quilters! Such generous people!
Jenni found these three quilts on a great deal and I quilted them. I believe they are going into an auction to raise funds. You can contact Jenni M for more info on that.
It is better to clean the quilts (sometimes) after they get quilted...I had to be careful when choosing a quilting design because these are fragile, hand pieced....and one of them is in kind of rough shape.
I tried to do just enough to get by and make them stable. But the orange one with 4 patches..GREAT Shape! I love the colors....
We used Muslin on the back of all of them to keep with that vintage feel. Hobbs polydown batting.
I quilted everything freehand on my INNOVA. Thanks for looking.
