Be sure to tell your daughter thanks for her service - you have every right to be proud of her. Also your wall hanging is great! I think you've mastered the free motion quilting - great job. It's your own yellow ribbon in your window!

Thank you all very much. I will send her an e-mail when I get back in town tomorrow and tell her how many of you are sending their thanks and blessings for her service. We got to talk to her on Skype Thursday night and it was good to see her face and she was glad to see us. We tried to set it up right after she left in August but for some reason it would not work on our main computer. Her husband (they got married in June) came over for our usuall Thursday night dinner and he spent an hour or so getting it up and running on this laptop. She is so tired and burnt out. She's works 80+ hours a week with only occasionally a half day off. We don't get to hear from her much because of that. She basically works and then crashes to get up and work the next day.
Anyway, Thank you all for your kind comments!!!

God bless your daughter - and you too. I bought fabric to make that same wall hanging, but never got around to it. You've inspired me to get it done! Our son has served in Iraq and Afghanistan and will be going back to Iraq this fall.
