So I discovered this lovely modern pattern on the Oh, Fransson! blog (link below) and just had to give it a try. Yes, I know, I should be working on all the Christmas presents I have yet to make - but I could not resist trying this little beauty out.

It's a super easy pattern in some ways, and kind of hard in others. It's easy because you pretty much just dig through your scraps and throw stuff together. A little hard because sometimes I arrange it funny and it doesn't quite work, lol.

Also, it's a bit time consuming.

I haven't decided what this will be. I might just make it a little bigger and turn it into a wall hanging...or if I spread it out over the course of a month or two (and acquire more green scraps, lol), I might make a lap quilt out of it.

The more wonky the better! :)

Love the colors and the fabric :) Have never done anything "wonky" ... may have to get out of my box one of these days!

Well, my list is getting longer....another to try. This would look great in bright batiks with black sashing.

Thanks for putting the link up Craftybear.
