Default 4 patch kaledidoscope

I took a Craftsy class of Marilyn Foreman called Twilight Kaleidoscope, this is my version of her pattern The request was for "a big queen size quilts, blue is his favorite color and he loves bluebonnets so I want a bunch of bluebonnets on it" Well fabric with just bluebonnets is quite boring so I went with a mixture of wildflowers that included them. And used just bluebonnets for the scalloped border, my first time for that and I think it adds such a nice touch to such a large border (20 inches) I met with the wife, my wonderful sister in law, yesterday and gave it to her. My brother in law called me last night to tell me how beautiful it was ( 4 times) all of those guys, my husband, his 2 brothers and his dad are men of few words so it really meant a lot to me.

Fabulous! The matching pillow shams is the icing on the cake. I have yet to try a scalloped border, yours came out great and I would never guess it was your first time trying one. I agree it adds a nice finishing touch to the quilt.

The compliments were well-deserved. This is a very pretty quilt and manly at the same time.

Your fabric choices make this quilt a masterpiece. I have seen quilt made from this pattern posted here. I love your scallop border. Job well done.
