    Yes, that is stack and whack with 2.5 inch squares 4 layers.

    Very pretty! I can't believe you hand pieced it! I have the pattern and fabric I bought a few years ago but haven't had the 'heart' yet to start in on it!

    very pretty I like the posies the whole quilt wish I knew how to do the 4 patch posie square I really like them

    it took me forever to find a photo of any of mine. I did one but it's still a top. and i have fabric for another one-of course. you lay four layers of fabric and pin matching areas (like leaves, flowers, what ever) all the way through the layers. Then cut in strips and then squares. turn each stack of four squares to get the look you want and sew into a four patch. Can use any print but the more length of fabric between prints the more variety you will get.
