Thread: the 4th (and last) machine cover - the making

    As some were asking I took pictures through the making of the last cover

    I made a pattern out of muslin, this time in one piece instead of three and cut shapes for a fishtank and planed the layout

    picking fitting fabric

    the fish and the seashells are made with the embroidery machine, the rest cut out by hand and all glued to the fabric and then appliqued with the sewing machine

    I made a sandwich with leftover batting (two layers) and quilted by machine

    I love it! It was so cute I had to show my granddaughter. She loves it too!

    SulaBug can send it to me after she tires of it, but I have a feeling it's never leaving your house.
