After reading Laceybritt's thread regarding 5 little monkeys quilt, I jump right on it to get mine started. Thanks for the motivation, Laceybritts.

It took me about a week 5-7 hours a day to get my top finished. I still need to embroider the poem around the outer border. I'm not sure if I'm motivated enough to do it. I might just skip it and call it finish.

Well, what do you think?

argggg.... you're making me rethink!!!!

the problem is I'm not good at aligning the designs. I'm not sure how to do it properly and not ruin the whole in the process.

Plus I ran out of the gray fabric to embroider it on. Hmm... I guess I'll need to go shopping this weekend.:-D

It's so cute. Do you have a friend with an embroidery machine? Maybe she (he) would do the embroidery for you.
