Looks very nice. Love the colurs. What size blocks did you have to start with and what is the sidth of the border?

I like the yellow, but maybe shop around for a different blue for the wide border.

Looks great! I think the borders will too. You're right too, this is a very forgiving pattern, no need to be exact really, as these seams don't meet, & they all come out pinwheels, so that makes it even easier! I am working on my borders now, for my wreath design, can't wait to show it to you all! This is such a fun quilting idea!

You don't really need any pattern, just make your own template, check out the info on the tutorials around for this, & go for it!

I'm thinking that the yellow border is terrific, but I'd like to then see a bright blue outer, wider border.

The top looks beautiful. You did a good job. Anxious to hear what size squares you used to start with.
