    I wanted to try out the Janome machine and all its fancy dancy stitches so I made this one.

    If I were to do it again I'd leave out the paper-pieced tree and maybe put in a tall snowman... I think the tree distracts too much.

    That is so cute. You might try putting the trees on a softer blue background so there's not so much contrast. But I like it just the way it is.

    It is adorable. If you really wanted to tone down the green from the trees, you could add a little white "snow" either with applique or more machine embroidery
