One of my friends brought this over to quilt and said it was made by her grandmother and this lady is at least 75 years old so not sure how old this is.. It was very fragile and delicate... there were some blocks that even had some small holes... she had washed it and when I got it it looked like a wet kleenix!! After 1 1/2 hrs of pressing and startching and then got it on the quilter... you can see by some of the pinwheels that they were quite a challenge to get it quilted...but it turned out very nice and it did need very close quilting just to hold it together...

This quilt is like a blast to the past. Memories of my grandmothers quilts:) Great job on the quilting. Wonderful way to preserve a piece of history and family heritage:)

An extraordinary quilting accomplishment for a fragile antique quilt. It's even more beautiful with your masterful touch. Good job!

What a treasure this quilt is, should be in a museum. You really worked wonders with your quilting. You did a great job.

It's so cool to see something that old last so long, think of how much longer it will be around now that it's quilted.
You did a beautiful job on the quilting.
