I have to sigh with envy every time I read a post about how someone is spending a "snow day" blissfully working on a sewing project. In the beautiful Berkshires, Massachusetts, we started moving the snow this Wednesday morning when it reached 24", and it continued to snow the rest of the day. By the time I got done shoveling out all the vehicles to move them to plowed areas and shoveled off the deck and back porch I doubted I would be able to grip scissors or a pin ever again.

It took two hours shoveling to get this far

I remember snow like that when I was a child in PA! Loved it then - not so much now.

Take care and don't over do it. Stay warm.

I can only wish it would once again snow like that here! WE usually have quite a bit but only 3 or 4 inches now!

Awesome snow pictures. All we ever get is a few inches and it doesn'r last very long. Be careful out there shoveling.

Would a blower work? Is it powdery snow?

I grew up in Canada. I remember those shoveling days well.
