Default ABC quilt finished.

If you recall, I asked for advice and we all decided that green sashing looked better than the stripe fabric I used for the back. However, as I auditioned the green further down the quilt, it was just too much. So, I substituted white.

The baby girl this play quilt is for got off to a rocky start. She arrived 5 weeks early, at 4 days old she was air lifted to another hospital for a blockage in her tummy, and then spent about 5 weeks in NICU. I'm happy to report she is now home w/her parents and doing well. She will receive her quilt this weekend.

Thanks for looking. Oh, and this is the first FMQ quilt I was pleased with enough to give as a gift. Ha.

Very sweet quilt, and best of luck that baby's health issues are in the past.

This came out adorable. So glad this baby girl is finally home with hopefully her medical issues resolved and behind her.
