Went to DS home for dinner today, nice to not cook or clean, enjoyed a great meal. This is an Advent calendar that I made from some cute material that my DIL found. Can add candy, money or small surprises in ea pocket along with the Christmas story from Luke.

I love your calendar. The red is wonderful! What loved children!
I have made a couple over the years. My first was a cross-stitched pattern (which has seen better days since 1993. The red somehow bled onto the white aida cloth during storage) and my most recent was quilted. I made two of them for my BIL's children and my SIL's daughter.

Oh wow, lovely Advent calendars. What a lot of work in the Cross Stitch one. I did that craft for 10 years and cherish the things I made. I then went to Tole Paining for 10 years and now I am quilting!
Great job ladies!
