I have been working on my Affairs of the Heart quilt blocks since March after seeing the gorgeous examples here on the board. I had never done needleturn applique before this and so I enlarged the pattern to around 10" and I picked the easier blocks to start with. I watched so many videos on the different ways you could do needleturn applique until I found a way that worked for me.
I am really enjoying working on them, and can't wait to see each finished block. I am running out of room on my design wall so I thought I would take a photo of the first 16 blocks I have completed, only 20 more to go
