I just returned from a mission trip to Malawi in southern Africa- I was directed to a fabric wholesaler where 3-4 yd pieces were less than $3 each. I gave about 30 yards to a couple of widows groups that I was sewing with, but also brought home about 30 yards. Don't know what all I will do with it, but it is just so colorful and pretty. You may see it in a doll quilt or a swap someday! I am thinking some placemats or totebags would be really fun to make.

I got some very similar to the ladies walking (in the third picture) when I was in Kenya. It sewed up very nicely into a long table runner. I am also going to use it on the inner and bottom edges of curtains for our den. you did very well with your fabrics. I think they would work very nicely in any quilt that has room for a focus fabric in it.
