Default WVU fabric box and Christmas throw

My first fabric box is made with WVU material to go with an apron I made for a friend who is a huge fan of WVU. I also have 10 more boxes started for my club craft next month. They can tack the flaps and add buttons. And the throw was made for a charity auction next month. I used stuff I had on hand. The snowmen were left over from another project, and I added navy, green and red strips in log cabin fashion from my stash. Then I added a few applique stars. It is really prettier than the picture shows. I machine quilted in the ditch, with a red flannel backing. Should be cozy.Just part of what I have made this week on my sewing frenzy. Using up lots of stash. Must buy more fabric.

That does sound cozy. I'm working on a throw with flannel backing right now myself for that same reason. Good work!

Cute snowman quilt. I am going to have to jump on the box bandwagon.
