I stumbled across some pink and brown fabric this afternoon and set out to turn it into a picture pillow for the nursery of a friend's baby. After stumbling over my basket of stabilizers while trying to embroider her name onto a ribbon I decided it was time to do something about those stabilizers. Here's what came of it:

A nice little holder for my stabilizers, fusible webbings and even a pouch for vinyl that can hang over my sewing room door.

One of the pouches put to use.

And, once my sewing room was cleared of stabilizer clutter, I came up with my original project.

A picture pillow.

Sure! It's called a picture pillow because the cener block has a vinyl cover so the baby's picture can be inserted there. It's meant as a decor item only and should go really nicely in the nursery. :-)

You're not the only fuzzy one, I was thinking the same thing, except it's the heat on this side of the world that's fuzzing my brain :?

Great idea for the stabilizers
