GREAT FABRIC! AND GREAT JOB. Love what you did with the fabric. It was a perfect match to the pattern.
Your sister will wish she had this piece for sure.....maybe you have enough left to make her one....you will got lots of compliments on your purse and everyone will want to know where you found the fabric.

Love it! The fabric is so alive. I am glad working on it reminded you of your DML. And that you have something to remember her by.

I don't know how long she had it before I got it.. Anyone have any ideas about era it might be from..looks like late 60's or 70's to me but I really don't remember..didn't sew anything then except kid's costumes and curtains. I do still have a terrible sunflower sheet from the 70's I'm going to just for fun make a quilt out of someday. Thank all of you for your encouraging comments.

Although your DML's sister got her stash, you got a true treasure. The bag is beautiful and the fabric wonderful. I'm sure you will think of her every time you use the bag.
