I'm kind of excited about how the FMQing went. I got the flower idea from Leah Day's site. (she has the most comforting voice!) The rainbow is where a doll's head will be.

I should be finishing the horses in the stable, but a friend is buying a doll quilt and I wanted her to have more choices.

I'm thinking of trying the maching sewn binding on this one--where the binding is sewed on the back, then flipped to the front to be sewed down with a decorative stitch. But then again-- it won't take long to whip the binding on this lil thing. :D

The quilt--no binding yet.

light to show the quilting--I squiggled in the bottom corners to reinforce

The quilting makes your log cabins look circular. Nice work.

Never mind, I went back and researched your original quilt and some of the discussions. measurements are 1 1/2" floral and 1" green.

It is! As Jim's Gem pointed out, the lights and darks are cut at different widths to give it the curvy effect.

:-D
