I just finished quilting this pretty Christmas tree quilt for my customer, and she was very happy when she came to pick it up. After she binds it, there are lots of tiny crystals that she will be placing on the blue background to create the appearance of a starry night.... and then one more star on top of the tree.

This quilt is a kit from Keepsake Quilting, and is available as a pattern also. Here is a link:

I have had this pattern for at least 2 years...untouched..sometime reading this board is like a trip into my stash of ufo"s...where is my motivation to stop looking and start sewing?? actually i have the kit...which means even less of an excuse..i really am hopeless

That's too funny! I think we have all done the same thing -- it's especially easy to bring a bag home from a show, and then forget to open it!
