These are all wonderful! I really like the origami bow ties. The 30s fabrics are a great choice. So cute!

All 3 of your projects are terrific.
As a rule I don't like bargello.... but the flag looks like it is waving in the breeze.
Any baby will be thrilled to play with the bow ties and I have to make a pincushion to go with my others......... Thanks for the inspiration!!!!!!

A friend found this link for me. http://knittingwithkyleann.blogspot....tie-block.html I found them almost addicting...............so much fun!!!!

Just for reference: I used 5" charm squares and the unfinished origami block measures 3 3/4" You can make them using bigger squares however. Wouldn't they look adorable as pockets on a little girls dress or on a pillow front?

Yikes, I just viewed the tutorial and I am seriously confused. Guess I need to see someone make one to understand. These look like nice little projects to do while as you did traveling, or just sitting and watching a video or ... or .... or...

Just found a video for making the origami bowtie block Yeah! Really does look easy peasy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC85hkKt_as

Interesting bow ties....have not seen them done that way before. Can you elaborate on the technique used? Or source of instructions for it. Never mind.......read the entire thread and found my answer.

Your little group sounds like fun......wish I could find one like that!
