I think she will love it. My mother suffered with Alzheimer's and she always loved a quilt. She thought she made them even after she forgot my name.

Thank you for sharing your story. It touched my heart very deeply. Your quilt will (and has) touched many lives and will continue to do so for many, many years to come. The love you have put into your work will grow and travel for a very long time.

NJ Quilter has great advice. Give it in love. The family will appreciate the gift, and who knows, maybe she will enjoy it too. My mother had that disease as well. I still took her things and talked to her just like she knew what was going on. I made quilts for her and she rubbed them. It's a beautiful quilt, and a sweet gesture.
