Thank you for your response. Sometime when I am feeling brave will give it a try. I think I give up too easy.

It is a terrific quilt Michael. The scrappy nature of the stars, the Peaky and Spike shape of the stars and the color of the stars goes so well with the well thought out sashing. The Peaky and Spike patches are very difficult and I can only image the frustration you faced without the benefit of Marti's templates. Doing Peaky and Spike with Marti's templates is the best demonstration of how helpful her templates are. Again, it is very important to your life in quilting that you call me and discover how to properly use them. You will work more comfortably and accurately when you learn the proper way to use them. The next time you are doing Peaky and Spike patches call me and I will gladly send you free the template set you need for a 3", 4" or 5" patches. I can assure you that you will be well pleased with the results.
