Ok, here she is. I found the pattern around 20 years ago in Woman's Day (I think), originally they were Southern Belles but I tweaked them into angel ornaments.

This is the original so a little scruffy

Back view, the wings are glitter painted felt

Adorable. I remember making angels with wired ribbon where you folded them into an accordian and fanned them out for the body and the wings. I wish I would have kept all of mine. They were christmas ornaments. This gives me an idea to maybe start making some more of them. Your angels are beautiful!

I have kept one of every ornament I have ever made. Now I just have to make sure my son knows which ornaments to keep as family heirlooms!
