    Default Angel Quilt

This is for someone I use to work with, she requested an angel quilt for her step Mom. She is very religious and her Husband had just found out he had Cancer. I immediately found this Michael Miller panel and showed it to my co-worker. She said no hurry she wanted it for Christmas. Well her Dad passed away in October and she was laid off in November so asked her if she still wanted the quilt for Christmas because she had already given me money for material and I thought she might need it back. She said on NO I still want to give her the quilt for Christmas.
I played with ideas in my head of a stained glass look around the panel, it did not work at all. After a lot of auditioning of ideas and fabrics this what I came up with. I still need to back, quilt and bind it.

Beautiful story for a fabulous quilt. I'm sure the receiver will treasure it and your co-worker/friend will appreciate you.

It's the most beautiful panel quilt I have EVER seen. Colors are gorgeous with the panel.

Beautiful. I'm sure she will appreciate your finishing the quilt, given the devastating circumstances she has recently faced.
