I am working on a square for preemie babies in hospital..This is what I have come up with. What do ya'll think? I will embroidery tiny eyes on face. Not anything that will stick out and rub skin..Can you even tell it is a angel? Going to use all different colors..this was my practice square..

I think its darling. If you are worried about the embroidery sticking up...maybe you could use a micro marker.

Beautiful!
Being the mother of a child who was born at 22 weeks and went striaght to the NICU where he lived for only two days. Most people do not know what little things like this means. But to a parent that has lost a child these are the only things that we get to go home with. I was sent home with a small blanket, a bear (I had one and he had one while in the hospital my bear got burried with him and I have his bear) and a hat. The blanket and the hat were both donated items and I don't know how I would have gotten through the first couple months without those
"personal" items that belonged to him at one time!
I have since donated many items to the NICU!
sorry for the book
From the parent of an angel, Thank You!

Just wanna quilt - I'm so sorry your little one had such a short stay on Earth - I understand that these little ones always live on in the parents' hearts

I think that your test block is perfect. I love the idea of eyes.
