Default "Anne's looking back at Turning 20" for my SIL - done & ready to mail

I posted this as a top recently after making it for my SIL. It's a Turning Twenty. She hinted so strongly for a quilt that I could hardly ignore her. Since she's the mom of 4 boys (only girl in the house) I wanted it to not be too girly so the boys could use it too. Then I thought what?? It's for her, so it got a real girly backing and pinks on the front. I named it "Anne's looking back at Turning 20" as a play on words. She can read it as hers, or as she's looking back as she's now in her 40's. I thought some of the fabrics had a vintage look to them. I quilted it myself on my DSM and was going to do cross hatching 2" apart. Whoa!! Way to much! So I did them that way one way and just a cross on each big block. I like how it turned out. I know she'll love it.

Very pretty, with the girly colors maybe the males in the house will let her enjoy it.

What a great looking quilt! I love the design, colors, and fabrics in general. I am not much on scrap quilts normally because I have a hard time myself throwing bits and pieces of fabrics together and having the quilt look nice but this one I really like a lot. Hope your SIL does too.
