    Another black and white

    One of the ladies in our guild got a bunch of fabric sample books and i was given a black and white one so i made this out of it. Also a close up on one of the squares and how i put them together. Some of the fabric was thick, but all 100 percent cotton, and i was afraid it would fray. Not made for anyone in particular just made it..........love them black and white, this one has no red like the other ones i made

    That quilt turned out very nice. The fabric samples that you were given were likely drapery fabrics. I have several "book" of samples and have used the fabrics for purses and in quilts. The fabrics is heavier but if it is cotton it is "fair game".
