I know, another D9P. I had to pick a pattern that I could make quickly and I did. Started Friday night and finished hand sewing binding this morning. Quilted diagonally through blocks and decided to quilt an on point square in the light fabric. It's approx. 50 X 62 ".
I made this quilt for a benefit for a family man in my community that has an inoperable malignant brain tumor. Cobra insurance is running out very soon and they are taking his drivers license away because of risk of seizures with radiation treatments. So there goes his income, he's a truck driver.
Very pleased that people I know are buying tickets. They're $1 but everyone is purchasing 5, 10, or 20. I'm so happy to be able to do this.

Your quilt is gorgeous, I am particularly attracted to that wonderful paisley! Most generous of you to offer this comfort to someone in great need of comforting.

That poor guy, what a nice thing you did. Hope it brings in lots of money.

Lovely quilt, and I hope it brings in a lot of cash to help support this truck driver now without insurance or income-so wonderful you came forward to make the quilt.

I love D9P and yours is beautiful. I like how you quilted it as I had a time deciding how to quilt the one I did. Such a sad situation and a nice thing you did. Hope it brings in a lot for him!
