    Default Another fun baby quilt

This one has been with me for almost a year waiting to be sandwiched. I finally got around to it on the weekend and delivered it to a dear family friend for his for grandson - who has already had his first birthday. Luckily it is a generously sized baby quilt. I did all kinds of fmq on it, but the pics did not reflect this. The applique was pure pleasure as it was done on my (then) new QE4. The back is a dp9 - which was going to be the original quilt front with just a few bits of applique - until the new machine entered the equation.

Great quilt! I've wanted to use those squiggly eyes on a kids quilt and worried about them being a swallowing hazard. How can I secure them?
