    OK... I showed you the unfinished top, now I have to share the FINISHED wall hanging! :lol: :P

    I did not care for the quilting suggestions that came with the pattern, so the simple design is my own creation. I also used a decorative stitch on it (three rows worth!). This is the first quilting project I have used decorative stitching on, but it will NOT be the last ~ I love it!!!

    btw.... I can't stress how much I LOVE (!!!!!!) my Babylock Quilter's Choice machine, either!! 8) :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: 8)

    Close-up of corner on front. This shows the decorative stitching ... and also the not-so-straight stitching that inspired the decorative row on top of it! (insert very sheepish grin here)

    That is so pretty. Is your quilting the metal looking thread or was that part of the fabric design. Either way, just beautiful!

    I used a clear thread for most of the work on the top (the only exception is the decorative stitches, of course), and yes, it looks a little "metalic". A coouple of the fabrics have gold in them, but I think you can tell which is fabric and which is stitching. 8)
