I put one of my jelly roll quilts on the machine last night and started quilting it. Because I am thinking of doing cross-hatching on another quilt I decided to practice on a top that is simple first. I am just using a small normal rotary ruler to quide the long arm but I will get one that is made for long arming.

I have a diamond cross-hatch stencil that I will probably use on the other quilt. It's kind of fun to do.

Pam that is looking great! I love the cross hatched look and the little flower motif in the 4Ps is a lovely touch.

That's really pretty Pam. I like the crosses on the whites and flowers on the 4 patches.

Thank you. I thought it went with the lattice look of the jelly rolls with the flowers on the lattice.

The first row isn't as good, of course, until I can more accurate guage with my eye where to put the guide. The quilt top I am working on now that is a vintage look is where I want the cross hatch in the center applique block. That is a very classic design for applique and I want to stay with the vintage look.
