Yes, this quilt is simple and uses up lots of scraps, but don't be fooled into thinking it is a fast quilt. It takes lots of time.
I save scraps in different forms with the intention of making these kinds of quilt for chaity. Some days I want a quick stitch and other days I want to play with scraps.
Marie - I have now made 3 of this design, thanks to the information you gave me and also the book that was sent by another friend. However, I have made mine in bed size quilts because of the charity I make them for. This last one had 192 of the small blocks. About 2 weeks worth of sewing. It is tan where the other 2 were white.
This has been a great way to use up scraps that people give me. Thanks for the ideas. Keep them coming.
