Default Another UFO finished in the nick of time!

While staying with my daughter back in 2008 (I think), she & I & some of her friends spent a weekend up in the mountains for a sewing weekend. We did this mystery. I always had these fabrics in mind for my other daughter, finally was making her a quilt. We had so much fun! So I made it an oversized queen. I finally got it to a local longarmer to quilt it a couple years ago...it's just been waiting to have the binding. I had asked the longarmer to save the trimmings from her squaring the quilt & that's what ended up being the binding, as I didn't want to use the blue & that's really all I had left from the fabric, other than scraps of white & less than 1/2 yard of the purple paisley. It actually worked out really well & I even had enough to make 2 pillowcases to go with the quilt. She just moved into a new home in VA. from here in FL. so this is her housewarming gift. We will be flying there for Xmas, so will bring it then. SO HAPPY IT'S FINALLY DONE! 2 pics of the top, pic of the pieced back, pic of top with pillowcases. I call this "mystery in the mountains".
