    Antique crazy quilt

    Just pulled this out the other day to show a neighbor, and it occurred to me you all might like to see it. It belonged to my father-in-law. Was apparently made for him, has his name and birthdate on it. Very heavy old cotton batting, with the embroidery serving also as the quilting, goes all the way through to the back.

    Beautiful. Love quilts of days gone by. This pattern would be fun to do a modern day version. Thanks for sharing

    Isn't that something! It's 95 years old.....the same age as my mom born in 1916.
