Here's more photos of my old quilts. (I got kicked off as more than an hour had elapsed.) Thanks for all you interest and kind comments. Enjoy!

Can't remember the proper name for this one. I call it daisy, but that isn't right. Someone on here will remember and tell me I hope! Very soft yellow field with scrappy flowers and darker yellow binding.

Close up of Dresden plate, again feedsack fabrics. See more of it below. Interesting tumbled block border.

Doll quilt which I believe was salvaged from a cutter. Interesting fabric choices.I think.

Unique appliqued coverlet. Needs a soak with the basket and birds quilt. All hand appliqued, muslin backing.

One of my favorites! Not meant to be Christmas-y but makes me think of poinsettias. See the close up for the tiny floral pattern in the stars.

Close up of hand applique. Very small neat stitches. Someone was quite patient!

Here's the whole Dresden. Age stain on the two right rows. Got pics out of sequence.

Tiny ditsy floral print. Hand quilted, machine pieced.

Close up of the border. Sadly very worn. Probably the top edge where it got the most wear and tear.

Pretty flowers on cream background. Purchased at an estate sale, had a big mouse chew smack in the middle which I restored. Look for it in the close ups.

Mended mouse chew area. Was able to "fade " out new fabrics to match the old ones. Looks like more mending to do yet.

Loving this viney border. I wouldn't have chosen yellow, but in this it works!

Lots of appliqued butterflies. Nice feminine colors. Blanket stitched in black which seems harsh but works to really make them pop! Coverlet, without batting. Muslin backing.

Close up of the butterflies showing black blanket stitch.

All for tonight. Have about as many yet to do, so look for chapters 3 and 4 later this week. Thanks for your interest and comments. Penny
