I purchased this sewing machine at a flea market and it still works. There was no owners manual so I don't know what model it is but the gold decals are beautiful.

Would anyone be able to identify this machine for me? It will be a while before I can get it to the shop.

Thanks,
Deb

I am not sure about the model, but it is an electrified treadle machine. If you look up the serial number on the Singer website, it will tell you the exact model, date around which it was produced and where.

Thanks for giving the old girl a new home where she will be appreciated.

Have you asked Billy, lostn51? He's our resident expert on old machines.

Looks like a Singer 28. Great find!
Excuse me, meant singer 27, not 28...

Very sharp! I have a treadle with the sphynx decals-it's a 127, but I think there are a lot of models with the same decals.

What is the serial number? Singer kept good records, though a few were lost.

Just contact Singer with the serial no. They can tell you.
