Oh Lois, what a labor of love! How nice of you to make that for your friends. I can't even imagine keeping all that straight to make sure you don't have any twins...nice job. That's a cute way to surprise them too!

Orangeroom, I can't take credit for making sure each star was unique. The number of fabrics and the way the fabrics were cut into two different size blocks of just so many of each size made it impossible to make two stars alike. I did work hard to make each star combination "pretty" though.

It is a beauty! I did the same thing when I gave my neighbor and friend a quilt I made for her. I'm sure they are going to be blown away.
