I have not posted much lately as have been so busy. This is my latest work in progress- still to be quilted. I love red and white fabrics-they look so good together.I also love doing all my applique with hand buttonhole stitch.I am hoping to finish this to take over to NZ next month and hope to give this to my mother.
There are never enough hours in the day and I think I spend so much time looking at things than actually doing them- but the intentions are there. I have also been doing the Civil War Block of the Week (Barbara Brackman) and this has opened up a whole new aspect of quilting- I have become so absorbed in the history of it all.
