Default Apple Core Quilt

I've been working on the top for a while... it is completely curved seams. Mr. Seam Ripper has been my constant companion. Hint: don't walk away to do another project without carefully checking the layout of the 4 colors. I had to completely unstitch 3 rows .

I found that this method of pinning works best for me... always with the 'smile' side up. The right corner is pinned vertically within the 1/4" seam allowance. The left corner is pinned horizontally within the 1/4" seam allowance keeping the pieces aligned for the first couple of stitches.

Oh my, very soft looking. I will have to keep your tip in mind for when I start my apple core. Been collecting homespuns, but I need more and I'm finding it harder to find the homespuns. You have the start to a great looking quilt!!

That is very well done. I know my seam ripper intimately too. I understand.
