Default applique wall hanging!

This is my latest creation, inspired by a free pattern call 'Cattails' on the Michael Miller site some time ago. I scaled down the pattern and played around with the design as the original was around 50", this is 29" x 26". It's made all from scraps and stash and I plucked up courage to get more adventurous and free motioned dragonflies, reeds and bullrushes on my Janome 9000....(just don't look too close at my stitching! :O). I added beads which just finished it off I feel!

It will be raffled on Wednesday to try and raise much needed funds for BreatheEasy, the support group of The British Lung Foundation, as my partner John is the Chairman of the local branch.

It a very creative masterpiece. Your embellishments really do put just the right finishing touch to it.

Thanks for the lovely compliments, I have only done two projects in over twelve months and you know 'they' say to practice free motion a bit every day to improve your skills.. well I just went for it and of course it shows in the inconsistency of my stitch lengths LOL..oh well!
