I sewed for my twin grandsons a lot when they were small and I appliqued and painted sweat shirts for a lot of people. I saw a Mickey shirt in a catalog and just drew a pattern and made these. Their mother let me have them back to use in quilts for them when I decide how I want to do it.

I made a larger shirt for my step granddaughter that had the big plaid M with Mickey leaning through, resting his hands in the valley of the M. There wasn't enough room to do that on the little shirts. I made the denim pants and lined the cuffs with the same plaid flannel.

jbsstrawberry, after the little legs grew a couples inches longer, I could turn down the cuffs and they still weren't too short.
