This is my first attempt to post a photo. I am so excited about some recent news that I thought I would give it a try. I used Susan Garman's pattern called "Ladies of the Sea" for this quilt. It took me about 1.5 years to hand applique and hand quilt. I have entered it in 3 quilt shows and the IL State Fair last year and won Best of Show each time. With the enouragement of my quilt appraiser, Hallye Bone, I entered it in the AQS Des Moines show last Oct and was juried in. No prizes, but an extreme honor to be included. Last week I was notified that it was accepted into the Paducah show for April I just want to share this wonderful quilt design with you.
