I was asked by the Mayor's wife of the community that my sister lives in to make a quilt for their Halloween Carnival fund raiser. They use the money for next year's carnival. They provide prizes for games, food, and Bingo. They have a pie and cake walk. They also have trunk or treat for the kids. And, a hayride to top it off. They also have a chilli cook off contest for the older folks. Its a great way to keep the kids out of trouble on Halloween and provide lots of good clean safe fun!! So, I told her that I'd be glad to help. I had approximatley one month to get it done. So, I had to find a fast pattern that would be good for the fabrics I had to work with. I used a 6.6 poly batting to give it some"poof". What do you think?

I think it is lovely and it will go for a lot of money to help with next years event. I love the pattern , I have never heard of it before, you did a beautiful job on it quilting and well. Is it longarm or FMQ.? The event sounds like so much fun for adults as well as kids.

Do they sell raffle tickets or sell it by auction? I love your quilt. My DH and I had a friend in SW AR and we would make the trip from SW MO a couple of times a year and I can honestly say that I have never seen so many RED HOGS in my life - especially around Fayetteville.
