Thread: Asian fabric quilt by Katie

Katie puts together the most beautiful quilts. This one of Asian fabrics and black backing has a panel in the center which I outlined and filled in with different stitches. Different size pieced blocks make up the surrounding area. Within these pieced blocks I quilted just whatever came to mind at the time. The quilt measures 88 inches by 94.5 inches. Hobbs 80/20 batting was used (natural color). I used Green, turquoise and orange threads.

Sorry it's a little blurry. Don't know if it was me or the camera that caused the blur, since I've been a little wobbley ( can't spell either, grin) lately.

That is just beautiful. I love the front but think I like the back even better. Great job.
